LIVE TV Playback Error Print

If you are getting Playback Error on all channels then please do the following before submitting a support ticket.

Here are a few steps you can take to diagnose and fix the playback errors:
  • Check your internet connection:
    • Ensure you have a stable and strong internet connection. 
    • Run a speed test to verify if your bandwidth is sufficient for streaming live TV.  (4K video streaming and gaming25–50 Mbps)
    • Restart your router and modem if necessary.  If on Fiber you might need to reboot your ONT.
       
  • Verify server details:
  • Check if we have reported any issues:
  • Adjust app settings:
    • Video quality: Try lowering the video quality within the Cloud Streaming app to reduce bandwidth usage.  If this works then you have something on your network hogging the resources.
    • Player selection: Should all be Software/Hardware Decoder.
    • Caching settings: Check if caching settings are optimized for your network.  You can clear the cache 2 different ways, one you can go to Firestick Setting then Apps and find Cloud Streaming app and clear cache.  Or you can go into the App Setting and to General and the clear cache button will be there.  Click that and it will clear the cache. 
       
  • Device compatibility:
    • Make sure your streaming device is compatible with the Cloud Streaming app and has the latest software updates. 
    • Try restarting your streaming device.
